Chocolate Bliss Balls

If you know me, you know I have an obsession with chocolate. I could eat it every day and never get tired of it. When I started to eat healthier it became hard not to eat it. But then I discovered dark chocolate and how good it is.

Dark chocolate and raw cacao has so many benefits for our health you have never imagined it! On the other side, processed chocolate with added sugar doesn't. So it's very healthy to eat raw chocolate even once a day.

It has so many benefits, raw cacao is high in antioxidants, helps to regulate blood preassure, it's a natural source of energy, a great mood booster and more!

Combined with other healthy ingredients we can make these truffles or bliss balls. They're the perfect snack if you are craving something sweet. Who would have thought that eating these chocolately balls could be so healthy?

Ingredients: (makes 12 bliss balls)

- 10 unpitted dates

- 2 tablespoons (35g) oatmeal

- 3 tablespoons (50g) agave syrup

- 2 tablespoons (15g) raw cacao nibs

- 2 tablespoons (50g) peanut or almond butter

- 1/4 (45g) cup almonds

- 60g dark chocolate (I use 75%)

Procedimiento:

- Add al of the ingredients except the dark chocolate to a processor.

- process the mixture until is well combined and sticky.

- Make small balls with your hands, aproximately 30g each. You can wet your hands with a little water to avoid the mixture to stick to your hands.

- Melt darck chocolate over a pot of hot water.

- Dip the bliss balls into the chocolate and let rest on a parcment paper.

- sprinkle some raw cacao nibs and let cool in the preezer for a few minutes, until the chocolate hardens.
